Rare is the law firm whose website unabashedly stresses the firm's commitment to work life balance. Specifically, Lowrie, Lando & Anastasi ("LLA") promotes itself right on its homepage as "a new intellectual property law firm founded on a work model that promotes balance in the legal profession."
What this means for attorneys is a billable hour requirement limited to 1,600 hours a year instead of the typical 2,000. The media has taken notice.
